Reflective - Choices

"Bob Sweeney: There was a moment, when I used to blame everything and everyone for all the pain and suffering and vile things that happened to me, that I saw happen to my people. Used to blame everybody. Blamed white people, blamed society, blamed God. I didn't get no answers 'cause I was asking the wrong questions. You have to ask the right questions. Derek Vinyard: Like what? Bob Sweeney: Has anything you've done made your life better?" -- American History X
We all have a choice, even when we are down for what seems, for the count, and for an eternity. You can blame your parents for the way their words, or actions, shaped your behavior while young. You can blame that kid who called you "baby talk" for not being able to communicate effectively. You can blame others for this or that, but what it comes down to is - What have you done TODAY to accept responcibility? What have YOU done to change YOUR life? The past is the past. A graveyard of memories.True there are good one as well as the bad. When strolling down memory lane have to accept both, same coin.True, what got you here is back there but should be facing forward.Otherwise you might miss something extra -ordinary and you are back where you are at, wishing for "should've, could've and would've".Choose to be PRO-active to where you want to go,to be.Or to be reactive to where you been.
